Forest Bathing Experience in Miyazaki Japan

As a resident of Miyazaki, I have had the pleasure of experiencing the beauty of the Kaeda Valley in many different seasons. But one of my favorite times to visit is in the fall, when the leaves are changing color and the weather is cool and crisp.

One of the best ways to experience the Kaeda Valley in the fall is by taking a hike along the river path. The path winds its way through the valley, passing by a beautiful river and offering stunning views of the surrounding forests and mountains. In the fall, the trees are a kaleidoscope of colors, ranging from golden yellow to fiery red. The leaves rustle in the gentle breeze, adding a musical accompaniment to the hike.

As I walked along the path, I couldnโ€™t help but feel a sense of calm and tranquility. The sound of the river rushing by, the crunch of leaves underfoot, and the fresh, clean air all contributed to a feeling of being at one with nature. It was the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and recharge my batteries. In fact, this type of experience is often referred to as โ€œforest bathing,โ€ a practice that originated in Japan and involves spending time in a natural forest environment to promote relaxation and stress relief.

As I made my way deeper into the valley, I spotted a beautiful waterfall cascading down the rocks. The sound of the water rushing over the rocks was soothing and peaceful. I stopped to take a few photos and simply enjoyed the moment, feeling grateful for the beauty of the natural world.

After a few hours of hiking, I made my way back to the trailhead, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The hike in the Kaeda Valley in the fall was the perfect way to spend a day in the great outdoors, and I canโ€™t wait to go back and experience it again. Forest bathing in Miyazaki is truly a unique and wonderful experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature.
